Job Description:
Our client is seeking a French speaking Training Coordinator with experience coordinating training for both mineral processing and engineering maintenance within operational mines to join their team on site in the Congo.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating training for all members of the mineral processing and engineering maintenance team within the plant.
- Carrying out training needs analysis and identifying training needs.
- Planning, implementing and carrying out training programs and assessments.
- Ensure sufficient resources are available to meet yearly training objectives.
- Development of training materials and analysis of training program effectiveness.
- Develop and administer assessment tools to ensure competency requirements are met.
- Assess training matrix and make enhancements where possible.
- Ensure safety, health and quality standards are adhered to.
- Conducting audits to ensure employee skills are at the required level.
- Budget development and cost control.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- Degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar).
- Fluent French communication skills essential.
- Matric certificate.
- Trainer, Assessor and / or Moderator certification.
- 5 years previous experience in gold plant maintenance or mineral processing.
- 5 years previous experience in a senior training position within processing plant.
- Strong time management, presentation and client liaison skills.
- Skilled in data analytics and technical reporting.
- Computer literate in MS Office.
